Photographers Who Have Inspired MeI derive my inspiration not only from the classes I take, but also from the great photographers in the subjects I love (grand and intimate landscapes, macro, flowers, trains, some portraits). I try to interpret what I have learned from my classes, workshops and reading then practice these techniques in the field. I am constantly looking for ways to develop my vision so that it is unique to my work. I am attracted to images that show simplicity and beauty and keep drawing me back to them. When I review the work of photographers on my list of "greats", I try to gain inspiration, knowledge, and a different perception of what I see in their work. I repeatedly visit their websites, buy their coffee table books, and visit galleries that feature their photographs. Some of the landscape photographers who have really inspired me are: Ansel Adams - www.anseladams.com Christopher Burkett - christopherburkett.com/home.html Harold Feinstein - www.haroldfeinstein.com Kit Frost - www.kitfrost.com Andre Gallant - www.andregallant.com John Sexton - johnsexton.com Guy Tal - guytal.com Linde Waidhofer - www.westerneye.com Art Wolfe - artwolfe.com
